What belongs here

Comments should stay relevant to the displayed passage and contribute a personal reflection, contextual question, or respectful encouragement. Disagreement is allowed; contempt is not. Do not attack a person or tradition, publish private information, impersonate others, promote unrelated products, or repeatedly post the same message.

Do not use comments to give medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or crisis instructions. Never pressure someone to remain in danger, discourage professional care, or claim certainty about God’s private message to another reader. Scripture may support reflection, but community comments are not pastoral or professional advice.

Moderation and rankings

Readers can report content for review. Multiple independent reports may temporarily remove a comment while it is checked. VersePath may hide content or restrict accounts that violate these guidelines. Reporting should be used for genuine concerns, not to silence a respectful interpretation you dislike.

Likes and rankings show community activity, not the spiritual authority, truth, or importance of one passage over another. Attempts to automate likes, create duplicate accounts, manipulate rankings, or coordinate harassment may lead to removal. These rules should be paired with a named moderation owner and appeal contact before comments are promoted widely.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after a report?
